Set a markup once and let your online prices follow your POS costs, with rules for single categories and a preview before anything changes.

If your prices come from your POS, you don't have to re-price every product by hand. Set your markup once and your online prices follow your costs.

Before you start

This page appears when your store is connected to your POS, which sends us each product's cost price.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then Pricing.
  2. Under Default Markup, type your markup. The example on the page shows what it does.
  3. We add your markup to the cost and round up to a price ending in 99.
  4. If one category needs a different markup, press Add Rule, pick the category and set its percentage.
  5. Turn on Pricing Review Mode if you want new products held until you've checked their prices. After a day, they go live at your default markup.
  6. Press Preview to see the new prices next to your costs before anything changes.
  7. Press Save & Recalculate Prices to update your online shop.

Good to know

  • A price you set yourself on a product is left alone. Only prices that follow your costs are recalculated.
  • Nothing changes until you save, so preview as often as you like.
  • You can change your markup any time and recalculate again.
  • To set one product's price by hand, see manage your products.
