You can deliver with your own staff, with on-demand couriers, or with both. The choice is yours for each store location.
Steps
- In the Merchant Portal, open Settings, then Order Management.
- On the Delivery tab, find Courier Companies. Pick which courier companies to use, or turn them all off if you only deliver yourself.
- Under How do you deliver?, pick one of the five choices:
- Our own drivers only. Your staff deliver every order.
- Our drivers first, couriers as backup. Your staff deliver, and you can send a courier for any order with one tap.
- Couriers first, our drivers as backup. A courier is booked when you mark the order ready. If none is available, your staff can deliver it.
- Couriers only. A courier delivers every order.
- Our drivers nearby, couriers further out. Set the distance your drivers cover.
- If you pick drivers first, you can also set a number of minutes. If nobody has left by then, a courier is booked for you. Leave it empty to decide yourself.
- Press Save.
Good to know
- Orders already placed keep the choice they were made with. Changing it later never affects an order in progress.
- When a courier is needed, we book the cheapest one available. Courier coverage depends on your area, so a courier may not be available everywhere.
- When your own staff deliver, you keep the whole delivery fee.
- When a courier delivers, the courier's actual cost comes out of your payout when they pick the order up. See how to set your delivery fees.
- Choices that use couriers are greyed out until at least one courier company is turned on.
- Some store types can also choose when the courier is booked, for example when you accept the order or when it is ready.
