Order Management is where you decide how customers get their orders. Every setting is saved for one store location at a time.
Steps
- In the Merchant Portal, open Settings, then Order Management. If you have more than one location, pick the one you are setting up.
- On the Delivery tab, set your delivery radius and your minimum order.
- Set your prep time, and how long an unpaid order waits before it is cancelled automatically.
- Set your delivery fee. See how to set your delivery fees.
- Choose who delivers. See how to choose who delivers.
- Press Save at the bottom of the tab.
- Open the Pickup tab. Turn on In-Store Pickup, and Curbside Pickup if you offer it.
- Choose how pickup customers pay, then press Save. Each tab saves on its own.
Limit orders per time slot
This keeps your busiest hour from swamping you. Customers pick a delivery or pickup slot at checkout, and a full slot is no longer offered.
- On the Delivery tab, find Scheduled Orders and switch it on.
- Set how soon customers can order and how far ahead they can schedule.
- Open Slot limits and choose how long each slot is.
- If you want, set a time of day after which same-day orders stop.
- Set the most delivery orders and the most pickup orders for each slot.
- Press Save.
Good to know
- Slot limits only apply to new orders. Orders already booked stay where they are.
- A cancelled order frees up its place in the slot.
- Pickup and curbside orders count together toward the pickup limit.
- A slot has to fit inside your opening hours.
- You can set custom pickup hours if they differ from your store hours.
